Allow us to introduce: Dan Underwood
Class of 2010
Dan comes to us from Vernon, Vermont. He received his Associates Degree in Construction Practice and Management and is now continuing on in both the Sustainability program and Business Technology and Management.
He had originally chosen Construction because that is what he has done his whole life so it seemed like a natural choice. He is working towards Sustainability because he realizes that is where the construction field is going and has a great need for people with knowledge. He's also pursuing business because he already has a small business of his own and would like to see it expand. He feels that his education from Vermont Tech will make him make his career in construction significantly better.
He originally chose Vermont Tech because of the atmosphere of the college, the consistently high placement rate, the athletics and because of the student teacher relationships which are possible with a high faculty to student ratio.
